I presume from this that you are not inferring i am russian but rather that i sympathise with russia or that i want to see ukraine defeated. you are reading my posts and deriving your own impression from them. what I am outlining is my understanding of the causes of the conflict and, what russia probably aims to do next. whether they are successful or not or whether my conjecture is right or not, remains to be seen, im not infallible but i am happy to state my position even if proven wrong on a later date. If at times I give a view, one that you disagree with, this should be challenged using logic.
the ukrainian goal is to liberate eastern ukraine and crimea. do you honestly believe from a logical stand point that they can achieve this, and what exactly would it entail? i dont mind answering this for you, it is very easy for me to champion either side of a debate.
the russian perspective is under represented, because, as hamster pointed out, the main media here is english. if we all championed the western narrative the topic would have died a year ago. there is too little reflection on the russian aims and goals in the media at large, and i personally see that as a monumental mistake of western media. a very dangerous mistake.
Your way off the mark in your presumption.
Perhaps I could have been more direct.
I was referring to your prediction if Putin seeking to partition Ukraine.
If that is a suitable outcome for Russia they ought to be prepared for a ruthless insurgency in Ukraine.
500k fresh conscripts won't be remotely enough to hold those regions in anything close to resembling a peaceful reality.
I will reiterate that your position on appeasement is an uninformed one in my opinion.

You would think Proximity would have learned a little humility after being proven wrong and running away so many times in this thread lol
That's for your valuable input as ever.
It's slightly unsettling how much energy you expend thinking about me personally, but such is life.

The brilliant thing about Western education 20 , 30 , 50 years back is that you can have a civil, in dept, at times controversial but factual and well informed discussion and debate. Institutions in the United States Ivy Leagues etc and Britain, OxBridge, Imperial , LSE etc etc .
People will take both sides and review facts , argue and debate and come into a well informed conclusion even if most arguments are under the English medium.
But not anymore. -_-
Ideologue and unchecked emotions " woke " have taken over.
Bit of a strange generalization, have come to expect those from your posts by now.
