He is trying his best, I remember chatting on this thread one year back , I lost my patience lol, so I just troll every now and then.
It is akin to having a debate with someone that thinks Santa Claus is real and you respectfully disagree and they snap back and say you are wrecking the only joy that they have since their childhood.

It is hard to come in the middle if the other side refuse to. There are a lot of things that can be agreed and disagreed in this conflict and be civil, but some people just refused to. It will come to a point where you don't think being civil is an option.

Yeah I can't be civil to some of the users who post here because they are way too emotional about all of this, it is exactly like the Santa Claus situation you describe, but since they are probably adults it isn't cute or acceptable in my view.

That said, I have learned a lot from some posters here and it's one of the more diverse forums I have found in terms of perspectives on the war.

If I were to describe the United States government in a game of thrones sense.
She will be a cross between daenerys targaryen and Petyr Baelish " Little Finger"

yes.

aggressively using the fist when they have to
but very happy to tamper when needed
and has no friends, only alliances.

I referred to "landlocking" Ukraine, this means, to prevent ukraine from having any land adjacent to the black sea. this would imply that russia would take everything right up to Moldova. From a total war stand point this is a logical tactical objective.

Add Kyiv and the north since this is what they tried to take in 2022 and then; let's wish good luck to the people advocating about "negotiations" after seeing this map (Including Georgia & Chechnya "wars"...)

Would also advise "negotiations" experts to read how things failed during Berlin Crisis (1961)...

And Today we have ;

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_sovereign_states

The invasion of Ukraine may also have violated international agreements that Russia is a party to, including:

The 1975 Helsinki Final Act, in which the USSR promised not to violate the "territorial integrity" of other signees, including through the use of force. Russia and Ukraine were both created as a result of the USSR's breakup.
The 1994 Budapest Memorandum, in which Russia, the United States, and the United Kingdom agreed "to respect the independence and sovereignty and the existing borders of Ukraine."
The Minsk Agreements, which are a pair of ceasefire agreements signed by Russia and Ukraine relating to the conflict between those countries that began in 2014

==> This is why the free world countries are rushing to give weapons to Ukraine. Whatever the "negotiations" experts want it or not

I honestly dont think he wants all of Ukraine. While again, most disagree with me on this, I think the attack on Kiev at the start of the war was meant to scare the Ukrainian government into surrendering, and to replace it with a puppet russian government. i dont think putin wants? is able? is willing? to do this anymore so instead it LOOKS like he is simply going to split the country in half, along borders that he has captured. This would of course be devastating for decades.

well, the situation in ukraine is already devastating.

All you need to do is to ask a simple question.

Is Taiwan a country and you will probably know their ideologue.
To further the question ask another follow up question.

If both the Taiwan and China's military is compatible.
What are their thoughts if China reunify Taiwan
and
What are their thoughts if Taiwan reunify China.

I think sometimes people do not understand a very simple concept which is quite perplexing.
They view China, Russia , Iran etc etc as trash..

But on the other end of the spectrum there are also huge amount of people who thinks that the British, Americans, French , Australians etc etc are trash.

But perhaps in our current geo political climate , those that think that the Brits, Americans , French etc etc are trash and are not considered human beings.
And this is quite evident when we are using an English based medium.

Absolutely terrible post.
"All you need to do is ask a simple question"
Then proceed to ramble on with sweeping generalizations.

ukraine is in russia's sphere of influence, im sorry if you did not like the analogy, or that this concept does not work for you.

Nothing to do with me liking or disliking anything, your reasoning is just awful.

You would think Proximity would have learned a little humility after being proven wrong and running away so many times in this thread lol
