im not quite sure of your definition of force. what do you call the US installation of the government in ukraine?

^djunior and ^Meanwhile are you both talking about the same thing? i am confused looking at your back and forth. however:

Meanwhile - it is clear from reports that there is a degree of negotiation occuring between the US and Russia. Either re: tanks or long range weapons or the 20% story. What is your view on this having re-read what you posted above "What i don't understand is that we still find people here who think that "negotiation" works". Does this not undermine somewhat your argument ? the 20% of Ukraine to Russia story related to Biden (has this been proven true, does anyone know?). I know appeasement is not your argument but if its true that the US offered 20% of Ukraine to Russia, what is your view on this? negotiation is exactly meant for situations like this - to find a way out. I am not saying its easy. all life is about negotiation to one degree or another.

Djunior - im not sure what it is you are arguing about with meanwhile, ukraine's economy is rekt, and yes they are on life support and yes they would collapse without western aid. (i dont think meanwhile disagreed with this, or rather, i dont think this was his arguement ?)

its a bit late to be still quoting people's (wrong views) 1 year later. people can have views but not all views are facts. they are opinions until they become fact or events overtake them and they become historic conjecture. i would not harp on about it with "i told you so". or well, i guess you could do it 2-3 times, but seriously, let it ago after that, maybe ? I would not bash someone just because they have a different view, or because their view proved wrong.

if you want to make things relevant to today, you can both try to determine what will happen in the next 3 months. on condition you are only allowed to say "i told you so" 3 times over the next 12 months.

are you denying that the US had any involvement in kingmaking in ukraine in the last 20 years ? this is a yes or no question.

Alexander Emerick Jones is an American far-right and alt-right radio show host and prominent conspiracy theorist. He hosts The Alex Jones Show from Austin, Texas, which the Genesis Communications Network broadcasts across the United States.

no, i have never watched any of his stuff. is he not the guy that got sued for claiming some attack never happened? /e ah, he is.

I don't think you'll get a reply :D

I asked him to comment on the Russian buildup for a major offensive because he called it the best joke he ever heard previously ---> no reply / dodged

No.
But are you saying the US installed the government in Ukraine?
And if so, are you comparing that to the Russisn invasion of Ukraine?

Would they be comparable "forces" to you?

Another valid point I think is Russias propping up of Bashad in Syria. If you want to say that Russia appeased NATO.
Russia acts in its own self interest, rightly so.
But at the detriment of Ukrainians? Not right.

No, it was a false narrative trying to prove something wrong. I was only criticizing a source ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Douglas_Macgregor This guy is a terrible seriously) and not doing something else.

This 20% story is false or dramatically inaccurate. Ukraine would hardly accept a deal while Russia is trying to take all Ukraine anyway, with all the war crime etc... Unpunished ?
Nice peace, name of the treaty; "Cuckold".

The young should not read Water Margin, and the old should not read Three Kingdoms. Those are my only feelings on the matter!

No. -- OK
But are you saying the US installed the government in Ukraine? -- No. but note that i have answered the question which was framed by you (if framed another way I would have said Yes).
And if so, are you comparing that to the Russisn invasion of Ukraine? N/A (as No, above)

Would they be comparable "forces" to you? - Yes. from a wide lens this is comparable, while accepting the western model is softer (in most? views).

Another valid point I think is Russias propping up of Bashad in Syria. If you want to say that Russia appeased NATO. <- this is not a question.
Russia acts in its own self interest, rightly so. - As does the US.
But at the detriment of Ukrainians? Not right. - As does the US.

in summary this war that has been created can not be viewed as being beneficial to ukraine. If the arguement at the end of all this is "ukraine is now free" then the counter arguement would be "at what cost" and i do not agree with "any cost was worth freedom" when the end result could have been more gradually achieved without this massive loss of life.

Do you not know about the Nuland/Pyatt call? Or do you think that doesn't constitute installation of a government

If you didn't know about it than comparing it to crazy conspiracy theories is understandable but if you knew about that call and did that, that is in pretty bad faith IMO.
