Only day 2 of the Manafort trial and he's already foaming at the mouth and becoming unhinged. I thought he would be happy that Mueller passed Podesta's case over to the SDNY attorney general. Guess that doesn't fit into the "witch hunt" narrative.

Analysts are saying since the trial has started, it's highly unlikely Manafort will flip. You have to wonder why he's so confident Trump will pardon him... or maybe he just doesn't have any actual dirt on Trump.

the dirt would be (not exclusively) that he would implicate Trump in knowing about the "treasonous" (Steve Bannon's words, not mine) Don Jr. meeting, right?

I don't think Manafucked has the option to flip anymore. If they already have sources for anything he would offer, he's not needed and there is no reason to bother with getting his cooperation.

That revelation wouldn't be that significant(in the grand scheme of things) unless the meeting was part of a broader conspiracy.

FBI agent on the stand testifying on how they entered Manafort’s home, that agents gathered outside Manafort's door, knocked on three separate occasions and announced that the FBI was there to execute a search warrant. When nobody answered the door, the agents used a key to enter.

Hopefully Hannity, Tucker, and the rest of the Trump cult can now stop with this "they knocked his door down" talking point.

trump's essentially in a permanent gray area because he has yet to say anything before the FBI or Congress. You can lie to the american people with every word but if you're not under oath it's really not anything cut and dry. whether congress chooses to impeach based on obstruction of justice based on unproven collusion is a different matter. we started off looking for pure and honest collusion, now we're working on an unproven assumption that collusion may exist and obstruction is being done to stop that being found. its a bit of a tangential offense tbh, not worth impeachment. but neither way perjury for Clinton... its late 2018, best case this stops reelection. we're too late into term 1 for impeachment to be worth the cost.
