i feel like poland is the naught kid in class ever pushing the envelope and that at lunch time several of girls have to sit on him and stuff socks in his mouth to stop him from saying or doing something stupid.
Ferdia, hold your horses. This type of narrative/generalising you presented here is completely unfair to what Poland, its government and society are taking on own shoulders during whole that time.
What BBC is often saying is just not confirmed informations spread by their journalists, who dont dig deeper seeking for facts or confirmation from the real source.
You could just ask if what you "heard" is true and then you would receive an answer from someone who is a little bit closer to the problem.
The supposed F-16's "transfer" to Ukraine been ruled out very quickly after this info hit the media. Polish Deputy Defense official Wojciech Skurkiewicz specifically denied that fake news. The source of this fake news isnt known for sure, it may be ricochet from another old fake news spread in the past year or from some anonymous Ukrainian source who been trying to keep morale of their soldiers up. The other thing is that this fake news been spread in here by some opposition politic who been implying that currently ruling party is weakening Polish Defense by sending F-16's to Ukraine, so some politicians trying shouting some pseudo news when they see they can gain some attention.
I dont see anything controversial in what Polish Prime Minister Morawiecki said, its been discussed many times on many different occasions during NATO meetings, that whole alliance must act as one.
