Lockdowns didn't work in any of the countries that did them. In the end, covid broke out. All locking down did was delay it, as we see with China right now
Countries in africa had way lower comorbidities due to young / healthier populations, places where it wasn't as easy to stay alive as a sick fat person like it is in America

Joe Biden promised he would not mandate a vaccine, then he did. Mandates were premised on the false belief that vaccines substantially mitigated the spread of covid and thus could apply to healthy populations like children with little to no personal risk, which again, was wrong. And lockdowns were forced on the populations in uniform manners without consideration to regional differences between rural and urban areas and the actual spread of disease, and blatantly ignored by cities and prosecutors who refused to enforce them and allowed mobs of people to congregate in public, but then turned around and persecuted small business owners who defied them.

I have to take 2 shots in Hong Kong, if not I cannot go to a lot of places locally. And at the moment, there is a huge infection rate up north in China after they lifted the lockdowns, but the Virus is not as serious as the earlier variants like Delta etc, they have mutated and become a tad weaker.
I have a friend who gotten infected 5 times after 3 shots in Hong Kong, he is still alive and kicking and drinking like a fish.

Lockdowns if not respected can't be perfect and that's normal we won't cage people like China 24/7 so there will still be contacts and transmission. Hard 2020 lockdown in China didn't produced much cases right, how so ?

It’s pretty obvious in hindsight the vaccine played a HUGE role in preventing winter hospitalizations 2020 as well as spring /summer hospitalizations 2021. 90% of hospitalized covid patients across the country were unvaccinated

And as time has gone on covid has become increasingly weak for the majority of people - something that has been echoed countless times that would become a weaker endemic virus
