russia being russia might be a "fact", but it's not a reason to just ignore international borders and pretend that a dictator claiming a region belongs to them automatically makes it so. a halfway intelligent person would understand the difference.
pootin could end this war today, not a single person would have to die in this war any more. he wouldn't even have to "give up" anything that doesn't belong to russia. those should be more than agreeable terms to someone who STARTED a war and killed countless innocent people, including many women and children. that is if his goal was PEACE - but that clearly isn't on russia's agenda. they want to CONQUER LAND that doesn't belong to them. first crimea, then donbas, then the rest of ukraine, then transnistria, and who knows what's next?
"russia being russia" doesn't make that acceptable or reasonable. that's where your kremlin bot "logic" fails you.
Smart people would understand that Russia is Russia and what would likely happen when you keep pushing NATO East all the way to your opponents border.
Lets face it, NATO was created to counter the threat of communism but the USSR fell apart, Warsaw Pact fell apart. There is no need to expand all the way to Russia's border, doing so just sends the wrong signal to Russia cuz they def don't see this as defensive moves.
Imagine if it were the other way around, an enemy military alliance encroaching on EU or the US, we all understand what the reaction would be, just be honest about it.
