Any halfway intelligent person would understand that Russia is Russia and they're gonna act like Russia does.
Any halfway intelligent person would therefor understand they're never going to allow Ukraine to join NATO.
Any halfway intelligent person would therefor understand they're never going to give up Crimea.
Any halfway intelligent person would therefor understand that further escalations only means that Russia is going to step it up.
*cries about the bombing of civilian infrastructure, thinks he's got a point (it's terrorism / war crimes / etc etc)
*gets presented undeniable proof of NATO bombing the crap out of Iraqi civilian infrastructure while the Western press at the briefing busts out in laughter.
B-b-but that just doesn't count that aint fair that's another war.....
Take the L and F off
any halfway intelligent person would realise that things like "russia is russia" and "pootin wants more" aren't arguments. there are agreed upon (by russia as well btw) international borders, and crimea as well as donbas belong to ukraine. those are FACTS.
again, pootin could end this war today, not a single person would have to die anymore. he wouldn't even have to "give up" anything that doesn't belong to russia. those should be more than agreeable terms to someone who STARTED a war and killed countless innocent people, including many women and children. that is if their goal was PEACE. but that clearly isn't on russia's agenda. they want to CONQUER LAND. first crimea, then donbas, then the rest of ukraine, then transnistria, and who knows what's next on their agenda?
you're like a hostage negotiator arguing that the kidnapper can't possibly give up little kathy and little derek, because he's REALLY fond of them, and everyone should understand that letting them go are non-acceptable terms - because they said so. you're not arguing from an outsider's perspective, you're undeniably taking russia's position. that's why people correctly identify you as a kremlin NPC, incapable of critical thinking.
