lying again, i see. ukraine and georgia asked NATO to join (i wonder why?!). THEY asked, not the other way around - not that it justified russia repeatedly invading ukraine either way... they are independent, sovereign nations. if their people want to join NATO, they are allowed to do that. i know you don't get that concept, but any halfway intelligent person understands it.
let me try to put it in terms even you might understand by making an analogy to your personal life: if your ex-boyfriend (ukraine) wants to hook up with someone you don't like (NATO), they are allowed to do that. you (russia) might not like it, you might think you have some kind of say in what they can do or not, but you don't. tough luck. your relationship (soviet union) is over. it's in the past. you are now separated (independent countries). neither of you has the right to tell the other one what to do.
Any halfway intelligent person would understand that Russia is Russia and they're gonna act like Russia does.
Any halfway intelligent person would therefor understand they're never going to allow Ukraine to join NATO.
Any halfway intelligent person would therefor understand they're never going to give up Crimea.
Any halfway intelligent person would therefor understand that further escalations only means that Russia is going to step it up.
