what are you on about lol

"negotiating" in this context means:

when 2 countries are at war.
1 country at a certain point will try to end the war by discussing this with the other country.
zelensky has made it illegal to do this.

this makes no sense to me sorry.

Do not attempt to apply sense in arguments with that hopeless creature

Yes he won't negotiate as long as Putin is in the kremlin. https://nypost.com/2022/10/04/zelensky-signs-law-declaring-talks-with-putin-impossible/

thank you

basically the article said this:

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky seemingly shut the door on the prospect of having any peace talks with Vladimir Putin — but not with Russia under a different leadership. Zelensky signed a decree on Tuesday formally declaring negotiations with the Kremlin autocrat to be “impossible.”

The decree formalized comments made by Zelensky on Friday after Putin proclaimed four partially occupied regions of Ukraine to be a part of Russia “forever,” in what Kyiv and the West dismissed as an illegitimate farce. “He does not know what dignity and honesty are. Therefore, we are ready for a dialog with Russia, but with another president of Russia,” Zelensky said on Friday. The Kremlin responded to Zelensky’s move by saying that Russia will not end its “special military operation” if Kyiv rules out talks, adding that it “takes two sides to negotiate”. “We will either wait for the current president to change his position or wait for the next president to change his position in the interests of the Ukrainian people,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

there are no winners in this war. the current expectation is that russia is about to do a major offensive into ukraine and it remains to be see how ukraine will cope with it.

if anyone has a different view on the current situation, feel free to chime in.

russia cant "win". if they beat ukraine into submission we will still have decades of western isolation of russia.
ukraine cant "win". if they repel russia and attempt to take crimea, russia is like to take the gloves off.

Ok so it's the second point: you can have pseudo politicians, internet influencers, etc... Acting like they are representing the country (ukraine) and offering a "negotiating" show with Russia...
I let you imagine the mess: simply have to pay/corrupt some of them and they will "negotiate" all day long a big propaganda. (ie: "the peace is to concede all territories and not ask for reparation... Putin is a nice guy ...")

So with this law they can stop intoxication campaigns. This law reveal the weakness of freedom of speech in war time. Russians dont need these laws, but just to change windows after the flight.

Now back to why I quoted YOU, cuz you just try to dodge and deflect while it simply cannot be denied that Zelensky has signed that new law, and for a reason/l

False. Do you think Ukraine & Zelensly can afford to "sign" new laws clearly violating international laws without any problem ?
Do you realize that sometimes laws simply don't exists, or are fairly uncomplete ? And that at some point you need to implement or change them ?

From MSM:

Facts concerned include the refusal to obey an order, threats against a commander, desertion and flight from the battlefield or the consumption of alcohol.
In particular, it prohibits the courts from reducing sentences or granting conditional sentences to servicemen found guilty.
This provision has drawn strong criticism even though the severity of the penalties has not changed significantly under the new law.

Zelensly answer:

According to him, the commanders on the ground have “demanded a systematic solution to this set of problems” and “under conditions of war, quick and effective decisions are necessary”.
“The army is disciplined. And if loopholes in the legislation do not guarantee its observance (...) this leads to increased losses. »

Still 1 million times better than Wagner & Blyats

"russia is about to do a major offensive into ukraine and it remains to be see how ukraine will cope with it"

Isn't that the exact same premise from day one ?

I think we are talking about different things. european wars are usually ended around a table. 1 side has written it into law that this will not happen.

Zelensky can only sign laws for his own country... Right ?
- It's a posture against Russia
- It prevent other ukrainians to pretend to "negotiate"
- It can be a security if something unpredicable happen

Whatever...

Negotiate with Putin now? What reality are you shills living in?
The Russians are launching missiles at civilian infrastructure. Are those acceptable grounds to begin negotiation?
