Cherry pick up over cherry pick up.

- So because Putin put underequipped soldiers on battle field during his agression... Ukraine is at fault ?
- Do you think Ukraine will sign new laws clearly violating international laws without any problem ?

Feel free to show me what is really wrong.

yes i cherry pick what and who i respond to. however if directed to respond to a question i always will (with one exception of course lol).

to reiterate: writing into law that it is illegal to negotiate with the enemy is one of the most brain dead laws i have ever heard of.

to answer your questions:

1. no.
2. you need to tell me what laws you are referring to for me to give you a direct response.

I don't think we will ever need to revisit this then :D
Lets revisit this once Ukraine repels another massive Russian offensive.

The alternative is what though? We never support our allies because Putin MIGHT use nuclear weapons?
Where does that get us?

Worse than a sledgehammer to the face?

the roots of the russia-ukraine conflict are over a decade old. ultimately we should not have encouraged ukraine to join nato. ukraine are on record as KNOWING russia would invade if they moved to join Nato. its a bit bizarre really. they knew that trying to join nato would lead to russia invading but did it anyway, and accepted (years ago!) that this war, and future wars with russia, would occur.

man i dont have the answers, and its not even about nukes, russia simply has more stuff then ukraine, including people. the whole thing is a mess.

yet our totally unbiased, totally not a kremlin bot user "djunior" doesn't say a word about how outlets critical of russia's war are simply outlawed, just like countless international organisations that didn't lick pootin's boots enough, or all the critical journalists and opposition politicians that mysteriously disappeared, had unfortunate "accidents", drank bad tea, or were locked away on made up charges... no, the REAL evil is fighting back against outright propaganda by russian troll farms and government controlled fake news outlets...

to be fair, making it illegal to negotiate with the enemy during a time of war is pretty out there.

lets revisit this in the event that Ukraine liberates crimea.

isn't it zelensky and his wife that refused negotiations?
i believe their words were "we wont negotiate while putin is alive" while putin called for meeting of himself, nato representatives and zelensky

or am I mistaken ?

Found out what you mean, It is not really some kind of "freedom of speech" as we can imagine... It is on the battle field if someone is captured ?

"Negotiating" very certainly includes : selling informations [positions, strategic info etc] to the enemy in exchange hope to get better treatment, or even money etc... Can cost alot of lives btw i let you imagine.
It could be a formalization through the law to ban "low level" treason too. I guess it's more like a "Dont even try to communicate" ...

Else if it's for normal citizen: well if anyone start start to negociate with Russians. I guess Russians simply have to pay a bunch of clowns defending them in front of the medias...

The answer is not appeasement of Russian aggression. The West failed in 2014 when they allowed Russia to take Crimea without consequence
We can't afford to repeat that mistake over and over.

Did you know Wagner is cutting testicles or crushing brainskuklls with sledge hammers ?

Did you know the Russians are not only putting their own kind underequipped on battle field:
https://www.rferl.org/a/ukraine-war-russia-deserting-troops/32232716.html

but also forcing Ukrainian conscripts into battle, probably in first cannon food lines... Barely humans shields.
https://www.economist.com/europe/2022/08/11/russia-is-forcing-ukrainian-conscripts-into-battle

Do you think Ukraine & Zelensly can afford to "sign" new laws clearly violating international laws without any problem ?

It's well known that Wagner does that and I won't deny that.

Now back to why I quoted YOU, cuz you just try to dodge and deflect while it simply cannot be denied that Zelensky has signed that new law, and for a reason/

A wild Ger war crimes denier chimes in, the one that lost his shit when I commented on the Ukrainian govt corruption scandal and once again you're completely losing it when you learn that Zelensky signed that new law.

what are you on about lol

"negotiating" in this context means:

when 2 countries are at war.
1 country at a certain point will try to end the war by discussing this with the other country.
zelensky has made it illegal to do this.

this makes no sense to me sorry.

Yes he won't negotiate as long as Putin is in the kremlin. https://nypost.com/2022/10/04/zelensky-signs-law-declaring-talks-with-putin-impossible/
