not true. In the articles that were written last week, she didn't specify one way or the other about how well she thought they knew each other. This new yahoo article doesn't quote her as saying anything new on that matter.

finally, we get a hot take on the REAL issue behind the scenes here. Get your tinfoil ready:

In all likelihood he is a sexual predator. But when a woman accepts a settlement she basically turns herself into a really expensive prostitute.

Seen a black male brandishing a 4 foot wooden stick this morning. Feign swinging at pallets of drywall and other construction materials downtown by Duluth MN DTC. Not out of the ordinary for the area. Still a bit strange. The good old construction boys were ready to pounce.

That is too suspicious. People tend to remember their coworkers. Seems more likely that the coworker was telling the truth, then later got a call from the Mayor like "Hey, we don't want the media to take the story down that path. If you could change your story, we won't arrest you for the drugs we are about to plant in your house."

The last few weeks has really shifted my opinion on the police. The blatant abuse in response to peaceful protest and flat-out assault on the media in several cities has really made me more sympathetic to the far-right talking points of the police as an occupying Force.

That and the prevalence of civil asset forfeiture which is basically just the police stealing from the citizenry has more or less led me to conclude that the current state of the police in this country is illegitimate.

We really need sweeping reforms because as it stands I don't believe the police are accountable to the citizens and as a result they have systematically abused their power for personal gain.

The reality is that even if the people in these cases were guilty of anything other than being an immediate danger to anyone around them, they did not deserve to be treated the way they were.

Cops in America need accountability, and it needs to happen now.

Thankfully, it's happening. When you have people like ME who are upset about an institution, it's because 70% of Americans are there. We've reached a point in this country where there will be substantial change in how we police.
