Scholz may yet send tanks to Ukraine but they are stalling. I agree that public opinion is not a clear majority in favour of sending tanks.
Polls are however not definitive and I would be cautious to assume German public opinion from those alone.

It's also clear that the German military is not in a position of readiness to send tanks even if Scholz had ordered it. THAT is what is an embarrassment, not Scholz's non-decision.

Indeed, its America's absolute manifest entitled right to fuck up every poor country around the world, leave it wartorn bombed out collapsed shell if its former self and then forget all about it and never spend a dime to repair the damage. Do you know what Iraq actually looked like under Saddam's rule? How life was in Syria?

When millions of Ukrainians are dead and milliona displaced and all their infrastructure destroyed and their government collapsed and replaced with corrupt petty warlords, we can break the Mission Accomplished banner back out of storage and have Biden visit the navy

We aren't Russia, don't vote for their government and don't hold responsibility for their choices. Their conscience is not our concern, only their geopolitics. And they're a few decades behind on exporting American style piping hot freedom liberty and democracy around the world, they could never catch up to our body count.
