The GDP of Texas is larger than the GDP of Russia
So the world was watching and the German government blinked.
No decision on Leopards for a month apparently. The new defence minister has ordered and audit on the countries tank inventory.
Do find it surprising that the government of people known for their efficiency, appear so ponderous in taking the lead. Scholz does appear to be asleep at the wheel on this regard. Although perhaps he has taken the decision in what he thinks is a reflection of the countries opinion on the matter, as is his right.
That aside allies of Ukraine pledge massive amounts of military hardware. Sweden in particular sending "Archer" artillery systems and BMP's.
The UK sending 600 Brimstone missiles.
https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2023/01/20/ukraine-russia-war-latest-ukraine-russia-war-latest-brimstone/The german tanks are not ready as i understand it. i.e. they need maintenance. this has been said repeatedly, for months.

You're projecting.
Ukraine loses if they lose too much manpower. Is it possible? Certainly."
agree with that, at some point this is going to be a serious issue.

Yes you (NATO) can fight to the last Ukrainian, way to go man.
When that actually happens and if Russia still wins in the end there will be a lot of explaining to do (and heads on the chopping block)
why would there be alot of explaining / heads on chopping block? ultmately this is ukraine's war. they will win or lose. i dont envisage many western heads to roll if ukraine loses.
