Trump cackled when it started happening, and then started asking "who are these people?" when he didn't like what was going on. As usual, it sounds like Trump put very little thought into what was going on, liked when people were "championing" his cause, and then disavowed them the minute they did something he didn't like. The fact that you believe Trump, of all people, is capable of leading a complex attempt to overthrow the government of the United States speaks volumes for your grounding in reality.

If your video refutes what I said, you should be able to articulate that coherently. You are asking me to watch a 40 minute long video and provide commentary for something it took you all of 15 seconds to post. I watched the segment you called out specifically, and I provided a response.

Put the effort into your posts that you expect others to put into theirs.

i already did dunce. i outlined that the oathkeepers and proud boys (among others) were coordinated in stoking the crowd and organizing the break in to the building, well before that day even.

then i provided video evidence with step by step timeline of how they did that.

i said that a large percent were just tourists or caught up in mob mentality and a small percent (mostly the above 2 groups which are prominently featured in the linked video) had nefarious intent to literally stop the vote, "arrest" senators and or mike pence, and do very real harm to the electoral process of the POTUS vote verification.

the lack of real damage was due to a swift retreat by congress/senate and heroic action on the part of police officers who endured mace, physical attacks with bats, flags, and all sorts of other weapons (even having their own weapons looted and used against them), and failsafes in the layout of the building itself to stall the mob.

its simple, people entered the building specifically to stop the vote from taking place. they attempted to stop the legal process by which we authorize passage of the highest office in our country, bulldozing and injuring officer and fellow protesters with weapons that luckily had only 1 fatal consequence. 3 with heart attacks and such.

Yeah, my perception of that day has completely changed, to be perfectly honest. I don’t see how anybody could watch that video & not be ashamed of what happened.

I think there was initially some peaceful protestors & people out there just to be there. However when I say “there” I mean outside in the streets of D.C, not around the capitol. That quickly devolved into a frenzied mob of angry people with the clear intention of storming & breaking into the capitol building with the intent of stopping elected officials from certifying the presidential election.I know this...because they clearly fucking say it lol. “We’re storming the capitol. It’s that way.” These people thought they were doing the right thing, as a direct result of the POTUS & other elected officials repeatedly claiming that the election was stolen from them, that they were cheated.


There’s literally a guy on the video saying “they’re in session, we’re going to rip them from their fucking seats!!”



I think people on the right downplay it by getting caught up in defending against what they perceive as exaggerations of what happened that day.

They’ll point out that aCtUaLly not everyone was trying to kidnap, murder or blow up the capitol, while failing to highlight that a sizable mob did indeed storm the capitol, with the intent of stopping the vote, & as a result multiple people lost their lives. Watch the video man, these people were acting like fucking animals.

The proud boys had no central leadership there. Anything about that was staged by individuals.

Even the investigations so far admitted that no insurrection occurred. None of the people there had guns or means to actually do any real damage.

The only person that died as part of the protest was Ashli Babbit.

The FBI is covering up the police officer death because it was clearly a health condition that surfaced at an unfortunate time.

The accusation of being hit with a fire extinguisher was likely FBI agitprop.

100% agree, they were perfectly clear AND recorded it lol.......
