Yeah, I noticed this too. I actually think that it helped Trump more than it hurt him. It prevented him from going off the rails and ramble on and on and on about stuff no one outside of the right-wing bubble cares about.

Agree there were a few times Trump should've just returned the conch to Biden instead of using his time

I disagree with some of my esteemed colleagues... I don't think Trump won this debate. He performed well, but to me it seemed closer to a tie. It's hard to judge because Trump's normal state is so terrible that a somewhat competent performance is weighed heavily.

Worth mentioning that Trump failed to make a coherent argument about the recent Hunter Biden/China scandal. So right now the closing argument is one that only resonates with people who watch Fox News every night.

Trump is losing and he had to make a serious play here. He didn't do a good enough job to make a real difference in the polls.

The moderator saved Biden every fucking time like clockwork

I thought Biden handled the Hunter talks poorly. He skirted around it and just started accusing Trump of having a bank in China.

Overall I thought Trump did a lot better. There's still an obvious bias like usual with the media. Immediately after the debate they praised Biden and claimed the Hunter accusations were baseless and false lol.

I mean, this isn't going to change the trajectory of the election. At the end of the day though, expectations of Trump were pretty low and he did a good job controlling himself. I think Trump won a few exchanges and Biden won a few. You could argue that in a vacuum it was a tie but expectations were dreadfully low for Trump.

No one going to talk about Biden struggling to speak the last 20mins or so? Poor boyz? Lol. There were a few times he was struggling for words.
