If you were to state "heteros aren't the most socially well adjusted people on Earth."

This is an example of an ad hominem. Just because you're a faggot doesn't mean that your first statement can't be true.

If you were to state the same thing and I replied "you're a faggot," that's not an ad hominem, because I'm not addressing your argument. It's purely an insult.
