It's interesting to think through some of the implications of where the American left is going.

Representatives AOC and Cori Bush criticized the bipartisan Senate negotiators for being too white. AOC is of the opinion that this is designed to keep minorities down. Now, leaving aside that this is incorrect, as anyone who wanted to be involved was seemingly included, it highlights how AOC and Cori Bush conceptualize voter representation in our society. If you're black, you must be represented by black people. If you're white, you must be represented by white people (although to make up for historical wrongs, it might be better if you aren't represented at all). This isn't unique to AOC or Representative Bush. I've had a number of conversations with "woke" family members who believe that every white man is represented by Congress, because there are a lot of white men in Congress. Whether or not you are represented ideologically is irrelevant, your racial characteristics are what matters.

What makes this ironic is that Sinema was elected on the backs of minority support. A majority of white voters did not vote for her, whereas 68 percent of minorities did. A normal, sane person would probably conclude that minorities in Arizona largely agreed that Sinema was the candidate who best represented their individual interests, much the same as how, mostly white, South Carolinians elected black Tim Scott to represent them in the Senate. That's how healthy people behave in a democracy. On the other hand, our racialist friends on the left believe that Arizonan minorities have been disenfranchised, and that South Carolinian whites are using Tim Scott, who as a US Senator is one of the most powerful people in the world, as an Uncle Tom who exists to obfuscate the supremacy of their race.

What should we be doing differently to combat the spread of 21st century racism on the American left?

If they stop talking bout it , it would mean they stop dividing the people. They stop dividing the people we might start uniting and going after the real problems we face. They don't want that.

Instead, we'll have

#Transgenders Month
#Black Month
...

NGL that video you posted should be something they show in school/tv/anime/wherever people who were raised by google get their information.

How is Omar's brother white?

he identifies as a “white-somalian” like zimmerman was identified by others as “white-hispanic”

Get with the times, Omar has been divorced from her brother for many years now.

It is really the poison of our time. I think they realized that they couldn't get what they wanted in a post-racial society, as responsibility becomes a matter of self.

yeah it’s really sad. we went from a society in the 1950s where in many parts of country people like me werent allowed to exist and now in 2020 a growing group wants to reinstate the rules and society that did not allow me to exist

Most people have no problems with black people or any other ethnicity. The problem are the people who have no clues how the world work and still give their opinions and vote. I hate the KKK as much as i hate the BLM.

People think i'm racist because i typed racial slurs online not understanding it's that easy to get people fighting which each other. I proved the point that a simple Social Media/Influencer/MSM can spark up a whole racial war with one specific agenda.

think im racist just because i typed some racists word on this forum to get some shit going. I'm into black/arab/colombian women. none of those are white.

There are a lot of stupid ideas on race that people have come to espouse since it's become so magnified in our society.

I was talking to a co-worker during the time of the world cup like a day after Italy beat UK on penalties. He's like I don't understand why more European countries don't have black players, look at Italy (basically saying it has something to do with racism). I'm like, you realize that Italy is overwhelmingly Caucasian right? Just like most European countries are. From a statistical perspective on a team of like 20 soccer players most of those guys are going to be ethnic Italians? He's like it doesn't matter they need to have more. Many people really have 2 dimensional thinking on these type of issues and shitty politicians love to maximize on that. For Booker and AOC, this is their bread and butter, it's what their base loves to hear.

The book of Exodus warned humanity to avoid jealousy because it is egotistical and destroys the hierarchy of God.

But humanity is predictable. Through history we watch Cain kill Abel over and over again. Does humanity ever learn?

it's strange that Tulsi Gabbard ruins Kamala Harris chance at presidency and gets labeled a Russian agent by Hillary Clinton, but DNC decides to go with Biden and Harris year(s) later
