It's interesting to think through some of the implications of where the American left is going.

Representatives AOC and Cori Bush criticized the bipartisan Senate negotiators for being too white. AOC is of the opinion that this is designed to keep minorities down. Now, leaving aside that this is incorrect, as anyone who wanted to be involved was seemingly included, it highlights how AOC and Cori Bush conceptualize voter representation in our society. If you're black, you must be represented by black people. If you're white, you must be represented by white people (although to make up for historical wrongs, it might be better if you aren't represented at all). This isn't unique to AOC or Representative Bush. I've had a number of conversations with "woke" family members who believe that every white man is represented by Congress, because there are a lot of white men in Congress. Whether or not you are represented ideologically is irrelevant, your racial characteristics are what matters.

What makes this ironic is that Sinema was elected on the backs of minority support. A majority of white voters did not vote for her, whereas 68 percent of minorities did. A normal, sane person would probably conclude that minorities in Arizona largely agreed that Sinema was the candidate who best represented their individual interests, much the same as how, mostly white, South Carolinians elected black Tim Scott to represent them in the Senate. That's how healthy people behave in a democracy. On the other hand, our racialist friends on the left believe that Arizonan minorities have been disenfranchised, and that South Carolinian whites are using Tim Scott, who as a US Senator is one of the most powerful people in the world, as an Uncle Tom who exists to obfuscate the supremacy of their race.

What should we be doing differently to combat the spread of 21st century racism on the American left?

Just them stirring the shit pot.

It's like i went to the Republic of Congo and told them there was too many blacks that represent the Congo and i want them to make it half white. If not they are racist AF and need to disband everything related to politics to accommodate my family, friends and i.

Just so happen, i also have a couple Mexican homies, Muslim homies. Now they also need to allow more Mexicans in office and why not more Muslims? Too many catholics in office.

Let's save the Republic of Congo. They are racist AF and we need to save them!

Or wait, Mexico is a great place. Let's dissolve their political system and bring more white In! More Muslims! More Indians!

It's racist to have Mexicans take care of Mexicans. Need more diversity as Diversity knows more bout Mexicans than Mexicans

aoc is a pathological liar and just a disgrace for the human race. if anything, she is the racist.

If you're black, you must be represented by black people - this is as racist as it gets.

I find it funny leftists say this when it suits their rhetoric, but when it doesn't suit the rhetoric, suddenly we are all one race so it doesn't matter. lmao.

there is a not-insignificant segment of society who wants to return to segregation, “separate but equal”, and different treatment under the law based on characteristics people cannot control (in particular skin color and sex)

Reps AOC and Cori Bush are examples of the Congressional leadership of this group

Just take Amouranth.. She make 1.1 millions dollars a month out of her OnlyFans. That's lot of people who donate because they care bout women equality and they really want the best for them. Read the chat for 15 minutes on her twitch and tell yourself, most of these people voice their opinions online defending women and shit. These people votes and gives their opinion. Probably all vaxxed and the type of people who wear 2 masks and ask others to get the jab.

People in 2021 lol...
