I think I've come across these numbers before but didn't know they were official hate symbold like a swastika. If the stats are true why is it considered racist to acknowledge the statistics and implement policies in accordance with the stats 🤔
https://www.adl.org/education/references/hate-symbols/1352-1390The number 13 used in conjunction with either the number 52 or the number 90 is a shorthand reference to racist propaganda claims by white supremacists against African-Americans to depict them as savage and criminal in nature.
In this numeric shorthand, the number 13 refers to the purported percentage of the U.S. population that is African-American. The number 52 refers to the alleged percentage of all murders committed in the U.S. that are committed by African-Americans. Some white supremacists use the number 50 instead of 52.
Everything is a hate symbol these days.
Remember when Hillary said Pepe the Frog was a hate symbol because people were using him in memes against her? In reality, it's some dumb looking frog from some random no-name cartoon that 4chan thought looked hilarious.

The statistics themselves are both examples of fallacies of compositions and trick poor thinkers
Similar things are similar.
The wage cap compares all earnings of women vs. all earnings of men. It doesn't take into account that men occupy the majority of the most dangerous and stressful jobs, which results in them being paid more in gross earnings across all job sectors. It is purposely framed this way to incite further division between the genders. A more honest statistic would be to compare earnings of men and women working in the same position, which would show that the earnings are exactly the same.
The crime statistics mentioned account for crime across the entire US. Comparing them to the misleading wage gap statistic is a false equivalence.
