the guy said there is sufficient evidence to impeach today
they can have the trial for removal in the senate. plenty of time to present the evidence for removal there before uhh, what's the next important political event again?
to me this is like a boss saying to their employees "we have looked at the situation and we're making the change NOW" then expecting people to change without showing the details.
if someone's seen all the evidence they can say "we have enough to impeach now", but 90%+ of the legislature hasn't seen any of the evidence on paper. just in the newspapers.
