i've asked this before, and it's still openly addressed, but i'm hoping to see direct response from the "pro-life" group specifically.
what is the moral argument to allow capital punishment, but not abortion, from a perspective of "pro-life"?
i'll explain how it appears to me in this specific aspect through a story that will have dual meaning here.
*Lamb to the Slaughter*

you likely hear this line used in a way that doesn't come from the story, but you likely already understand the point i'm making just by reading the line. it's common-place use is quite literal.
sheep don't need to be blind to find their way to their own slaughter.
what's scary about capital punishment, is how much more it gets used and abused when it becomes appealing to the public.
you should remember the constitution are laws the "government" needs to follow. not a legal code that the "people" follow.
there really should be extra cautions in mind when relinquishing a government's restraints, they may not exercise that power as you hope when they have affirmation of said power.

i'll be blunt, it seems hypocritical to argue "pro-life" and "capital punishment".
granted, not everyone who argues against abortion, will argue "every" instance of abortion. but a lot do.
it appears to be a 2-faced sense of morality where "every life matters", and with the flip of a switch "except them".
this is not a "gotcha", but you better start prepping responses, there's not much time left.
