Correct I did agree with him , the grown ass man wearing make up started from Japan back in the mid 90s.
At that point of time the Koreans haven't gone down that path.
The Japanese took all these ideas from British Glam Rock, David Bowie, Billy Idol etc etc so on and so forth.
Please note that British and US influence is huge in Japan.
Further down the road into the mid 2000s, Hip Hop started another wave of twerking which also had a huge impact in Korea.
A combination of men wearing makeup / Bublegum Pop from Japan and a combination of twerking like a pig form the current KPOP genre.
This have a huge impact on the older, more conservative generation who feels that this is destroying their culture.
Korea doesn't have a choice and neither do Japan since both country are closely tied up with the United States.
FYI, during recent talks with the Untied States and Korea, Netflix is now putting in more investment into the Korean Entertainment Industry ( You will see some degenerate woke shit coming out of Korea very soon).
