Probably, but I think there would be some incentive for it if Russia ends up on the losing side of this conflict somehow. Losing = being completely pushed out of Ukraine and losing access to black sea + unable to stop western expansion and militarization of Ukraine.

At that point Russias future will be looking quite bleak and their economy would be in ruins I would think. Nalvany starts looking like a good option because his election would mean Russia could get back into trade deals with Europe and probably face less punitive measures for the invasion.

Mostly a joke but I could see Navalny being a Russian Lula lol

I don't understand what "losing access to the Black Sea" means. Are you implying that somehow because of this war Russia will actually cede Russian territory or?

Throwback #552121

All things considered, this war has proven beyond a reasonable doubt that the amount of propaganda liberal/democratic countries push is far more extensive than totalitarianists. Ukraine war could be on par with stalin/hitler era propaganda

"amount of propaganda liberal/democratic countries push is far more extensive than totalitarianists."

That is absurd, even by definition.
Russian military was telling its own recruits that Poland had invaded Ukraine/Russia.

Both "sides" are guilty of misinformation/propaganda.

No doubt russian media and even mod peddles propaganda, but if we compare to the amount pushed by West/Ukraine it would be like comparing a river to a sea. This could however be because of means rather than ideology, but could also be because of ideology.

Bellincat was saying Russia has enough ammunition for 2 weeks in February, putin has died 13 times of cancer, Ukraine shot down 4 transport planes, shoigu heart attacked, putin and shoigu coup, russia has no chips, ghost of kiev, fake "mass-rape" stories, i mean the list is literally endless

That is absurd. Perhaps in literal terms, the "amount" would be more; But in terms of the falseness, the Kremlin takes the world championship belt.

Kremlin propaganda has been pretty dogshit, their PR has been super low tier.

There isn´t even a competition

Goebbels and stalin couldn´t compete with this

In terms of falseness, they still take the belt.

Falseness would be when they peddled things like the recent 400-kill rocket attack that hit nothing, or when they did "sign of goodwill", the azov stories but then released them all in exchange-trades, probably the nuke-story is the biggest because lets face it if ukraine actually was making a nuke the russians would´ve hit kiev with 50 nukes instantly.

Still think ukraine takes the belt with mythical story telling

We can disagree.

The debate on Russia TV about whether Zelensky was the antichrist or a small demon sticks in my mind.

Reality for Russians is whatever the Kremlin decides.

Could also be in large part that Russian propaganda isn´t aimed at western-audiences whilst all Ukrainian is, because it is in large parts a PR war for them
