We've known for a while that the virus doesn't spread much outdoors, so that's not really the point here. There's plenty of people who don't mask indoors because they think the virus is a hoax. Bars, restaurants, campaign rallies without mask requirements are where this thing can spread.

We're at the point where people are getting vaccinated and case levels are lowering, so it's an opening for people to say "what was the big deal guys, i've been living my life the same all along", as if it's making a coherent point.

How is this not the point? It is the point because some of these places are trying their hardest to keep people indoors. There was a lot of confusion in Ontario recently with government orders that basically said that if a Canadian cop pulls you over you have to have a good reason like going to work or you could receive a ticket.

There's plenty of places in very blue areas where everyone is forced to wear a mask indoors when going to a business, doctor's office, or whatever. I don't wear a mask at my house but any other indoor place outside my house it's automatic, and that's the case in places like Ontaria where cases have ticked up significantly recently.
