Bernie has been heavily trying to appeal to and rile up 18-30 year olds as it is infact their future on the line, and I'm not sure if its the exact number but its pretty close. Turn out was like 13% on super tuesday for that age range.

this number really needs context: what was the overall turnout on Super Tuesday, what was the turnout among voters aged 45+?

How much mail or early voting is there in Massachusetts? And are the results from early ballots included or excluded from exit polls?

Biden was surging very strongly very late, so his election-day numbers should be far better than his early voting numbers. If early ballots are included in the exit polls (because they are already fully available), then this could explain the discrepancy.

We don't see the comparison with others candidates for each age class. Maybe young people will start to move in primaries to support Bernie, thus i'm not suprised, 18-30 you can go vote for the presidential election but primaries... They are busy and distracted.
At this stage he would probably have won since a while if the vote was mandatory (in some countries it is) or online.

no other move for the "whoever gets the most votes should win because the electoral college is unfair" candidate. he just figured those greedy centrists wouldnt bow out and he could win even in a brokered convention.

Milwaukee will still have protests tho even if he drops out calling it unfair. should be lit regardless.

See you there

Thats kind of what I was getting at, they're too lazy and distracted to go vote for the only person who seemingly gives a fuck about them. Its a really bad case of eggs in one basket, and the basket he chose to push for is people who are too busy memeing on reddit.

ages 45 and over voted overwhelmingly for Biden and are the most reliable when it comes to getting off their ass and actually putting their vote where their mouth is. Also people picking last second, voted fairly largely for Biden. 18-30 crowd actually showed up in lower numbers than in 2016.

Sadly, I think ole Joe is about to make a decisive come back, and then we're gonna have 2016 all over again where no one shows up on election day and people rage constantly about how corrupt the DNC is.

tbf I think Bernie Bros actually are going out, showing up, doing door to doors, and voting, but they seem to confuse Reddit support with the public at large. Just because they're hyped up doesn't mean the other 87% of ppl their age actually give 2 fucks. Most of my friends aged 28-35 are just onboard for another 2016 meme fest. I doubt more than 15 or so will actually show up and vote.

If people do that this time they're complete idiots.

It's just hard to drive all the youngs, urban, people, for anyone. This does not means their vote worth less, just they aren't realizing how important it is.
If there's people busy memeing on reddit it's the far right wing trash mostly. Social platforms already specified that conservatives are the ones who would really suffer of more regulation.
Spitting on young people is deplorable. Thus i'm still looking for a median age for Biden vs Sanders.

its representative of an overall trend of young people wanting something, not doing anything to make it happen, and then blaming old people for the problems they could have fixed for themselves.

and you're of course right, while they may have a preference on candidate their love of the memes is also at play.

Good. Comey sucks. Trump has done a great job exposing the FBI for their shenanigans.

And after an awkward ~32 hour delay

Elizabeth Warren is off the island

Thank god. I think this presidential campaign hurt her political image more than it boosted her. Some high-profile gaffes and beefs.
