Well to be fair this is the narrative in most western countries, including ireland - "full support for ukraine". the ukraine crisis resonates in ireland noting our troubled past in the north of ireland, similar to how the plight of those in gaza resonates with us. when fed a convincing narrative it is easy to pick a side. in this regard I am not surprised where ireland sits in the above poll. noting sweden/finland geographic location the results there are also easy to understand. portugal is only the odd one out when i look at the top 10.
