And after an awkward ~32 hour delay

Elizabeth Warren is off the island

She went all in to torpedo Bernie to have a future in her party.

Prediction: Sanders ends up with the most delegates but not a majority. It's a contested convention, the DNC picks Biden, and a Democratic bloodbath ensues. Trump beats Biden handily in the 2020 election, further radicalizing the left. AOC takes over as the face and leader of the party in the messy afermath and later becomes the DNC nominee in the 2024 election.

Agreed almost entirely. Though I think Biden actually has a better chance to win some key states, like the possibility of flipping texas over Bernie who just flat out can't flip that state. Overall turnout to vote in the general is probably higher under Bernie, at least as far as the popular vote is concerned. Though we saw how that worked out last time.

I'm fairly confused by whats happened over the last few years though. I was pro trump all through 2015 and 2016 with the main intent of if he wins it will irreparably ruin the Republican party and whatever sacrifices the country has to make to have that happen are a necessary evil. While I think it worked to a fairly high degree, I really didn't expect them to bend the knee so hard to him and wanted to have more division going. Instead now we just have Reps with possibly the worst public image problem they've ever had, but still unified in their retardation.

Meanwhile the DNC is a lot shittier than I gave them credit for half a decade ago. This should have been an open and shut election decided by no later than 2017, and somehow he might actually pull off a re-election. Biden feels exactly like Hilldog did in 2016 when I talk to any person I know about the possibility of him being in the nominee.

If biden is chosen while sanders has most delegates...
Imagine the reaction of the solid left block, which is like at least 1/4 to 1/2 of all democrat voters; Sanders being rejected by establishment for the second time! Trump victory IMO, they will simply not even vote for Biden, or anyone.

to be fair, Bernie's most solid support block doesn't show up to vote anyways. What was it, 13% turnout on super tuesday?

Is the GOP's position really that bad? They have realigned on the issues to some small degree because Trump forced them to, and it has been in the direction their base wants. They have pulled the judiciary back in their direction to a large degree, potentially persisting through the next Democratic presidency. Trump has increased the rural/urban polarization even further, which has hardened and not weakened the GOP's grip on the Senate. He has pushed unproductive losers like Paul Ryan and Jeff Flake out of the party, which is good for them in the long run. Trump the person is very polarizing and producing bad optics nonstop, but the party's rank and file are still largely united behind him and he still has a very decent shot at winning reelection.

No idea where from you pickup your number and how it compares to others candidates. Solid left block also include Warren too IMO. Trump-Clown is the deserved punishment.

Bernie's "brand" is about creating a new voting block. turning out massive numbers to beat trump or whomever. it shows in the media polls, but the turnout at the actual voting booth is shit. he's a social media darling that no one can even be bothered to show up for to vote.

Bernie has been heavily trying to appeal to and rile up 18-30 year olds as it is infact their future on the line, and I'm not sure if its the exact number but its pretty close. Turn out was like 13% on super tuesday for that age range.

I would say almost entirely thanks to him and those that bent on their morals in favor of staying unified their image is tarnished for good among fence sitters and swing voters, as well as the world at large. He polarized their base, sure, but a large chunk of those people won't be around for very long. They also can't vote for him in 2024.
