Yes that is what I said.

I asked you what I am arguing against? This is what you posted, and it doesn't make sense.

"If they're the only ones sent in they're the ones to claim that victory. They're just given that shit job.
Why would you try to argue against this"

Would you like anymore straw?

I'm saying Wagner doesn't supersede the regular Russian army. I said that several times.

YOU said Wagner supersedes the regular Russian army. See your posts above.

Dunno what you're trying to spin here, but I'm not gonna entertain you and your deflections / dodges / moving of goalposts etc

But you and everyone else saw this, if you didn't you should, takes one and a half minutes of your time and shows Prigozhin recruiting convicts for Wagner ;)

If Wagner group or Prigozhin claims responsibility for taking Soledar, in my eyes they have superseded the Russian miltary in a way; In terms of tangible battlefield accomplishments for Russia in the past 6 months.

There are some wild stories of Wagner mercenaries executing deserters with sledgehammers. Kind of an incredible paradigm. I'm putting the kettle on and wondering what I'll buy for my dinner tonight, and somewhere else in the world a Wagner merc is executing a dude with a sledgehammer. Life choices eh.

Not sure why you try to mystify and create ambiguity where there is none:
1. Wagner&kadyrov have no real political power outside that which is given to them by kremlin. Anyone who talks about a former prisoner and chechen warlord having legitimacy in moscow is beyond retarded
2. Wagner executing deserters with sledgehammer is a fact, it isnt "wild stories" as has been established in syria, libya & ukraine.

I dont sermonise right and wrong i just see things for what they are. in this regard your comments here re: wagner would be plausible to my mind. nothing strange about this and not a new development in the history of war.

It seems somewhat odd to me that we are supposed to believe Putin is a brutal tyrant but also allows internal power struggles to get so out of hand that they are evident to the international community. I mean this is the guy thay supposedly disappears anyone who speaks against the regime isn't it? I can't imagine embarrassing it would be a great move career wise.

NBC has the best evidence I've seen so far supporting the internal power struggle theory though, it includes the claims attributed to Prigozhin and some history on comments he has made about Russian military leaders that definitely add some meat to the theory.

its an internal power struggle (if you even want to call it that) in the army, but ultimately the army does what putin tells it to do. therefore he does not care who leads what, so long as they do what they are told, and achieve results of course. By all accounts Putin likes his chef.

i removed the link when quoting you, im not allowed to link anything apparently!

I don't disagree with any of that I just think most tyrannical leaders would rather internal power struggles stay internal, and most people living under those leaders try very hard not to embarrass them.

Lol the nicknames we have created for the Russians are great, "Putins chef" "General Armageddon". Next up will be "BadGuy McLackeyFace"

Oh I wasnt criticizing you, "Putins chef" is an actual nickname attributed to him by the media. From what I read he was responsible for catering some events or something so it's not wrong, just thought it was a silly name along with the Armageddon one.

So you want us to extrapolate
"I'm saying Wagner doesn't supersede the regular Russian army"

From
"If they're the only ones sent in they're the ones to claim that victory"

My bad then, that was completely clear all along. How could we possibly miss what you meant.

So, contribute something? Or maybe don't, spare us.

Damn the angry boys out in force today. Wonder how it will go when the Leopards arrive in the Donbas.
