IMHO Russia is running under the warlords logic: the leader has no other alternative to conquier more lands (open war or not) if he wants to stay in charge (up to stay alive).
And Ukrainians are giving their blood to be free after decades, and Putin is turning the crank of a meat grinder.

Their previous statement was that the FSB is banning them since January, 5th. The second one fits my theory, the first one is not. Next week we will see the results.
What is your source anyway? I can give you a handful of Ukrainian sources worth visiting with all the news you got being posted several days ago. Requires translation though, but solid. Building up a Lvivz of you, pm me if interested.

Yes, the 15th like you said. So next monday. Btw maybe they could try a "silent/cover" mobilization.
They will have hard time to hide their move anyway.

They keep repeating about a mobilization, can be to true or just to get more weapons.

I said "after the Christmas holidays". January, 9th to January, 16th. Anyways they have a 30k "fist" in Luhansk and the same amount in Bakhmut/Artemovsk, I believe, twice as big "fist" in Belarus so if they get 1.5 mln conscripts then they can attack, since the first wave conscripts are prepared enough to follow their steps as "territory defense" forces. I dunno. I never was an infantryman and this modern combat surprises me sometimes, but not that hard.
