About time.
Honestly i don't really know why some of the long shot candidates ever really try. Every cycle you have the Steyers or the Klobs that everyone and their mom knows they won't make it.
At this point it should just be Bloomberg-Sanders-Biden. Bloomberg should drop if he gets smoked Tuesday and fall in line behind Biden.
i think they stayed in specifically because of Pete's performance in Iowa. it read to them like certain candidates may able to win certain states and take just enough votes off of Bernie to force a convention vote. What i do find a bit off tho is they're not staying in post a big win in SC by biden. but maybe they realize if bernie and biden split down the delegates and head into convention both under the total it's still a 2 man race, you'd need to have more delegates than they can even hope for to stand a chance.
2 things im looking forward to now:
the next debate, interested to see how this cast gets along. Warren seems only in it to attack Bloomberg on behalf of Bernie. and im not sure what bloomberg's path even looks like unless he wins a few of the next primaries.
what percent of the "moderate vote" from Pete/Amy/Steyer(lol) bleeds directly to Biden. it would be wild if Biden goes on a tear and Bernie just fades in delegate count after all of his hype and "im leading the polls" narratives.
