try to make a coherent argument then for once: what is "IT" in your "argument"? what is the blunder?
if you mean relying to such a degree on russian fossil fuel, i'd absolutely agree. that was a massive blunder, fueled (pun intended) by a ridiculous over-reaction to fukushima within german politics, and underestimating / ignoring pootin's lunacy and disregard for international borders.
if you, however, mean the completely moronic talking point of "mAkiNg rUsSiA oUr eNeMy", conveniently ignoring who the (repeated) military aggressor is, and at the same time pretending russia has no agency in our bilateral relations, then you just completely ignored all the arguments (many of which you ironically presented yourself btw) as to who is responsible for the deterioration of russia's relations with the west.
again, the EU did NOT want that war, we are the third biggest losers behind russia and the ukraine, we were interested in a strengthening of economic ties and diplomatic solutions to conflicting interests. how daft would someone have to be not to understand that? xD
Nato expansion / NATO 2008 Bucharest summit (accepting future Ukraine/Georgia membership)
Euromaidan (coup) ~> pro EU puppet installed
Ukraine ~> Sevastopol, therefor ~> Russia mad
There a short synopsis I'm getting tires of having to post the same official sources again and again.
Do you really believe the Russians saw all of this as "friendly strategical moves" or something?Quote (Hamsterbaby @ Jan 6 2023 08:12pm)
