Actually no. Negotiating with nuclear powers under threat of force, is not the only option. And should never be an option. Unless we want perpetual land grabs and conflicts around the world.

Lol no, is invading Russia the only way you can see Ukraine being a threat to Russia? If so you are way out of your depth discussing these issues. Do you know what the CIA does by any chance? How about the national endowment for democracy? The US has many tools to attack countries, extremely simple minded to think they can only do so through direct conflict.

Have you heard of the cold war? Why was the US opposed to sovereign countries adopting a different ideology from theirs? Was that somehow a threat to them? Was Vietnam going to invade them if the commies won?
