Uh yeah. Dismantled police dept. is the mistake I am referring to. But what can you expect from Somalian pirates. Ilhan Omar wants to "dismantle" the Minneapolis police dept. Fortunately, Mayor Frey (D) is against doing that.

It's already decided; dismantling to rebuild. I guess new organization, it could help in weakening / breaking white supremacists networks.

Do a little more research. The story I'm getting is that the mayor of Minneapolis said there will be no "dismantling".

And interviews of Ilhan Omar had her saying she wanted to build a private police force, which didn't sound good at all.

I believe that due to the city charter, the measure would have to go to a public vote, but their majority is indeed, veto-proof.

Yeah, I don't know how Minneapolis does things. I read that too. But the Mayor seems to feel differently. Maybe the Governor is siding with the mayor?

I also read that only 9 of the 13 city councilmen voted, and I don't know how that works either.



/e Also, I don't know why anyone would go all the way to Somalia to dump nuclear waste there. That doesn't even make sense bro. If that actually DID happen, it would go a long way towards explaining why Ilhan Omar is so screwed up. LOL

They only need 9 of 13 for a veto-proof majority according to the article I read, so I don't think it matters if they are missing 4 votes.
