Why won't trump call this terrorism tho?

Then the group could be called a terrorist group. And for some reason ppl want to avoid white supremacy to be called a terrorist group. (This would result in banning the group)

The racism is strong with this country.

/e on a side note: Only muslims are terrorists.

Which would also be unconstitutional. Domestic terrorism has a definition, it doesn't any teeth as law. The laws governing things like giving material support to a foreign terrorist organization are just that.

The Alt Right is much more violent than the Nazis who marched in Skokie. For example, the Nazis then didn't kill anyone. Now we have an American dead due to domestic terrorism and you guys keep justifying and normalizing it.

Let alone the hundreds of other incidents of KKK violence that overlapped with neo-nazism.

Because it isn't terrorism. It's a bunch of idiots at a rally and it got out of hand.
Hell the Teamsters have done far worse than anything that happened in this instance.

So next time a Muslim extremist drives a car into a crowd it will be just because a bunch of idiots got out of hand, and that's how Republicans will discuss it. Cool story.

it is more than just being "idiotic" there was a clear intent esp in the case of the driver. Your next sentence is again trying to marginalize the impact with some dubious example.

It was probably terrorism in the colloquial sense, but that clear intent isn't proven yet and its still imaginable to have other explanations, and in the legal sense, there's no case for terrorism charges because they only apply to foreign organizations, heck even hate crime statutes probably won't apply and Jeff Sessions is just (once again) trying to cover his ass in the media, because federal hate crime laws only cover 'actual or perceived race, color, religion, national origin religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability'

I'd classify it as a hate crime. If the guy drove his vehicle into a random crowd of people I'd call it a terrorist attack.

I do believe it was one of the demonstrators, or at least a local person...that drove the car into the crowd.
That was the impression I got anyways.

I always thought that for a person to be a terrorist they had to be from... "somewhere else". Like a different political system, so to speak.
I don't think left or right leaning, qualifies.
