I accept Russia has a right to its security, I do not accept NATO was a threat to Russian security before this invasion.
Saying that NATO was a threat to Russia is like saying Saddam had WMD's. Same false flag narrative.

This war if nothing else will increase NATO presence and potential flashpoints in Europe. And we have Vlad to thank for that.

It is more accurate to say Ukrainian democracy was a threat to Putin's authoritarian regime.

It's not supporting Putin to say that calling Ukraine a "Democracy" is akin to calling North Korea a Democracy. At least be honest here.
