Another round of missile strikes on Ukrainian cities in progress as I type this, and Kiev appears to have been bombarded numerous times in the past hour in particular. Doesn't look like its targeting just energy either
Still very mild weather in Ukraine and won't freeze for another month or whatever. A cold snap would definitely wreak havoc since it seems like nobody has utilities

I've noticed you comment on the weather impact a few times. Researching it says Kiev usually 30F-20F in Jan with cold snaps being like 15F (barring rare systems). This doesn't seem harsh enough to directly kill most via exposure, so I think it will have low impact. Would hate to repair frozen exposed nfrastructure though. Weather is unpredictable though, if Ukraine got the blizzard system US got near holidays they would be screwed.
