And there we have it... Ilhan Omar wants her 5th Congressional District to be lawless. I guess you can't have pirates, illegals and law enforcement in the same town.
We need to disband Ilhan Omar... quickly.

Defunding the police is the most Quentin Tarantino response possible to all of this.

And for those saying "oh well it worked Camden, NJ". Yea, well it only "worked" because they completely revamped the education funding as well... and even then, the crime rates didn't drop until 2017, nine years after it was all changed (2008).
Actually, crime fucking SKYROCKETED for the next few years after 2008, and it became one of the deadliest cities in the country.

I'm from about 30 mins outside Camden, I'm well aware of that shithole.

No one expects to see overnight change from education reform.

Ilhan Omar wants the police force... DISBANDED, in Minneapolis and maybe in all of Minnesota, for all I know.

I am leaving pard after today so this will probably be my last post but i think its a great experiment, lets see if everything melts down or if nothing changes.

Of course someone would take 1% of what I said and take that as good news.

Why not bolster the training programs prospective officers go through? Make the psychological screening more thorough / lengthy? Continuous screenings throughout an officer's career to make sure there's no sort of mental decline? Constant trainings / competency tests to ensure officer's not only know, but UNDERSTAND the law and rules of engagement (ROE)?

Defunding the police force is nothing more than a knee-jerk reaction that's going to cause the city to spiral out of control, slowly but surely. But hey, what's nine years of chaos / murder / corruption if the left can prove their point that "it worked", right?
