Afaik, the 54 pledged delegates will also be allocated based on statewide results, for a total of 144 statewide delegates.

Those are typically a mix and don't require a threshold.

Is gonna be Sherrod Brown 2024 guys. It's gonna be trump's White House until then.

I think of trump was weaker there would be a lot of different candidates running.

explain? he’s the most unpopular and incompetent and vunerable and easy to defeat President ever according to people who do not support him

He is gonna steamroll anybody except Joe Biden, who he will still beat soundly, but it just won't be like watching Mike Tyson box a midget. And it's because Joe Biden is non-threatening and establishment...there just isn't a lot of bad things to say about him...not a lot of good things either...just not a lot to say about him at all. He was a goodish senator.

Good father to his kids when his wife passed from a tragic accident (along with their daughter) too. Rode the train to DC so his kids didn’t have to move from their home. That is the mark of a good dad.

Too bad the good son (combat veteran, AG of Delawae, and overall decent person) passed away young from cancer. while the prodigal one fell down up the stairs his entire life, had an affair with his brother’s widow, and torpedoed his dad’s Presidential campaign

Cancer doesn't discriminate.

It depends how it will affect them upstream. A Bloomberg candidate would be a lot better for democrats running for office in Texas for example.

I see the rationale behind this argument, but I dont think it's convincing. Bloomberg is pretty big on climate change, gun control and on regulating personal behavior ("soda ban"). These things should not go down well at all in Texas, even if Bloomberg is a better fit for TX on issues like taxes or economic policy than Bernie.

Imho, the strongest Democratic candidates for states like Texas are Biden and perhaps Buttigieg (depending on how much of an issue his sexual orientation is for Texans, which I cant really tell).
