which of course means they will be trying to subpoena a president to demand testimony about his deliberative process and decision making, in direct violation of the separation of powers and executive privilege. Its a pretty crystal clear case, since they're focusing on his conduct while in office as opposed to the post-presidency case or anything from before he was president, they don't have this power, they know they don't have this power, so unless Donald Trump decides to call their bluff and jiu jitsu his way into a prime time pugilistic shouting match with congress, its an empty threat that will do nothing but result in endless litigation for years.
And they also kept replaying their new piece of 'evidence', a message of a 'tipster' telling law enforcement that the proud boys would be so numerous their arrows would blot out the sky and they came to rape pillage and burn DC, except of course nothing in the message was remotely true and there was only a handful of proud boys present, not even including leadership and core members who stayed away on January 6th, and they weren't armed, and they didn't kill anyone, and they sure didn't "outnumber the police". So a bit like playing a message of someone tipping off the FBI prior to 9/11 that a secret cabal of space jews was coming to burn down the world trade center and use the scrap metal to make their dreidel-class battlecruiser spaceships for war against the kolobian mormons
