You are saying "that doesn't explain the gap" despite having no basis to think that. You might be right, but you don't know anything about the field, so your opinion is not really worth anything. One thing we know, is that when people get old enough for medicare in the states cancer instances goes way up. This is because they have access to insurance to pay for screenings they either couldn't afford before, or were putting off due to cost. So we know there's a lot of cancer that isn't caught, at least in America.

Thing is, you are right to be skeptical about pharmaceutical companies, and pharma in general. They can be dens of evil that puts out things they know to be harmful. But your skepticism leads you to some dumb conclusions that aren't supported by the evidence, and makes you look past other egregious problems. Like, we know beyond any semblence of a doubt that homeopathy does not work. It is 100% placebo. We also know that vaccines work and the benefits far outweigh the risks.

So I appreciate your being critical, but I think you should add more skepticism, because when you say pharma is bad, and then say homeopathy works, even though there's the exact same conflict of interest in homeopathic treatment as there is traditional pharma, you've left some skepticism on the table.

I have seen the statistics about it. there is around 5k to 10k new sclerosis cases for France alone. Know the word "to the moon" ? that's what it is atm.

Homeopathy is nonsense and you only need a Chem 101 class to prove it. But please, link me these homeopathic studies with reasonable sized samples and sound methodology.

I am very familiar with posology, but admittedly I've never heard it called by that name.

There's a reason you haven't linked any studies that show homeopathy working. It's because they don't exist, and it's because homeopathy has been tested thousands of not millions of times, and the results always come back the same as just giving somebody sugar water. I find it hilarious that you reject pharma, but accept homeopathy. Homeopaths have the same monetary incentives as big pharma does. So maybe turn your critical thinking towards that as well.

When a new form of medicine is discovered to be effective its mechanism is studied and new treatments are made based on it. There is no allopathic or western medicine, because anything that works will become western medicine.
