When did we destroy infrastructure? in which phase of the war?

I mean we did this very liberally during the gulf war, and there are enough sources out there that talks about it.

We also did a number on them during the more recent war. I mean you don't end up with 200k dead civilians and us having to rebuild large swaths of Iraq because we were surgical about our attacks.

It's clear that you're supporting this war. What a surprise ^^

You should stop crying about Russian attacks on infrastructure cuz this is what you can expect in a war.

I'm also not crying about attacking civilian infrastructure. I am pointing out why its Russia's preferred tactic, after failing to secure their objectives militarily.

There were fancy promises of rebuilding Iraq, not much happened though. Still all infrastructure is fucked.

Thing is, i don't care about any of that. The moralistic part of it is irrelevant in land of politics. I am just disgusted by hypocrites who bend the laws of nature and history on a whim for their perceived exceptionalism.

US preferred tactic is destroy everything and then invade.

Russia is running the US play-book right now.

I support anybody's right to exist, to freedom and to live without tyranny. Simple rights that Vladimir Putin wishes to deny Ukrainians. Who according to him, don't exist.

Its clear that you're supporting dictators, illegal invasions and murdering civilians.
Choose your own hill to die on, even if yours appears to be on the wrong side of history.

My stance is that this should've been avoided from the start, chump.

And NATO is not going to dictate what happens in Crimea it's as simple as that.

Why not? Cuz Russia is not like Iraq or Afghanistan that NATO can bomb into submission.

Sucks for you I guess

Its not a sign they are failing, its the strategy they are using now BECAUSE the conventional war has been lost, to this point.
It was lost the moment they were denied continuous access to Gostomel airfield.

Surovikin has taken control of the war in Ukraine. He has seen that it is not in the armies best interest to continue an offensive war, or to hold all land taken in the initial attacks.
He is playing to the armies strengths and capability. Mainly defensive and mainly artillery battles. Whilst attacking civilian infrastructure and hoping to break the will of Ukrainians to continue resisting.

I mean Russia still holds significant amount of Ukrainian territory. It's weird to say someone lost a war when it's raging on continuously with no end in sight. But your points are consistent with general western media. No matter what, always frame as Russia is losing. Idk, I rather wait and see what happens at the end. If they end up keeping the vast majority of Ukrainian territory that they took then it would be quite the stretch to say they "lost" the war.

Russia didn't need to destroy everything first right? Since Ukrainians wanted to be liberated by Russians, right?
Ukraine's army would capitulate in weeks or days, right? Zelensky would flee the country immediately, right?

Putin's running the badly informed dictator playbook.

Nobody in their right mind thinks that "all Ukrainians" want to be "liberated"

There is however pro-russian sentiment in odessa, kharkiv, donetsk, lugansk
