I think it's more likely that the Trump campaign and GOP assessed internal polling and made campaign changes based on that information rather than coordinate with Russian intelligence.

Most of what I've read points toward Clinton and the DNC running a bad and outdated campaign. The GOP ran a much more data-centric campaign and were better able to target swing districts and swing voters.

But we'll have to see. I've discredited a lot of Russian collusion type stuff that ended up being true. I honestly didn't think the DNC hackers were Russian sources. I was wrong.
