Exactly. He doesn't care about corruption, he wants political retribution

He cares about corruption when it benefits him. That still falls under caring about corruption.

No it doesn't lol. It means you're opportunistically seeking political retribution and finding corruption is an incidental vehicle.

lol thats technically true but disingenuous as hell.

its like saying "i care about the environment" because Asian beetles are invading your home, but saying nothing as the rain forest burns.

people don't trust his judgement, and they don't have to.

years after he has left office, we will see what impact he left behind. until then it's all speculation

It's a philosophical question not a scientific one.

So far, seems pretty good. Great economy. Curbing illegal immigration. USMCA. A fucking Space Force. Lol.

Schrödinger's cat is a thought experiment, sometimes described as a paradox, devised by Austrian physicist Erwin Schrödinger in 1935, though the idea originated from Albert Einstein.[1] It illustrates what he saw as the problem of the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics applied to everyday objects.

He's using corruption as a vehicle for retribution I don't disagree. It also muddies the waters on whether this was initiated for retribution for 2016 with Biden's 2020 run being incidental. Its been a mistake for the Dems to say all of this is solely focused on 2020 for that reason imo.

Technicalities are pretty useful in situations such as this I think.

when the outcome of a situation is unknowable both outcomes can be assumed until the situation becomes knowable.

such as, is Biden Trump's opponent? since we dont know what the primary will bring but either outcome can happen he both is and isn't. but he definitely isn't one outright.

note: this is using the definition for "opponent" you laid out, not Webster's.

i agree, technicalities are useful for eluding potential crimes.
