Ukraine should've realized Russia wasn't going to let them join EU/NATO. And yes of course Moscow was going to do what they had to to keep Ukraine out of EU/NATO.

The West can't tell the rest of the world what to do. Unless it's small countries like Iraq or Libya, they get bombed into submission and literally no one cares.

You should check stuff like this here if you're genuinely interested instead of listening to Western MSM propaganda. Seriously.

Even IF we accepted the premise that Russia has some sort of historic claim to Crimea, that still doesn't give them the right to invade or boss around the rest of Ukraine. Keep in mind that the West did in fact let Russia get away with annexing Crimea.

Wrong, a bunch of sanctions were put in place right away and I'm quite sure the US was involved in Ukraine even before that happened.
