They're younger, fresher, more charismatic, more articulate, seem to not get unsettled as much as Biden by people who dont support them, and they arent as nose-deep in the D.C. swamp as Biden.
Quite frankly, nobody cares about legislative accomplishments from 30 years ago. And as much as Biden has tried to claim co-ownership of the more recent Obama-era legislation, I dont think that this pitch is particularly convincing.
Oh yeah, have I mentioned already that these two would not be fucking 77 years old on inauguration day? ;)
Btw, I'm not saying that you're necessarily wrong, I just think differently about Biden. Guess time will tell who was right.
Well, it's not a matter of right and wrong because these are opinions. I agree that they are more charismatic but that's only one piece of what makes someone a good candidate. Experience is also one of the other "conceivable" ways. As for Biden, keep in mind that he was a senator until 2008...a lot of his legislative achievements are from this century!
But yea, I do think Biden is too old to be president which is why I'd hope we only got 1 term out of him. That term should focus on a public option, reducing the power of the presidency, and restoring our foreign policy standing.
