What irks me is that theres a strong likelihood that a man who murdered an 11 year old girl in his 6th driveby shooting and got buried under the evidence provided by his own mother, will get a pardon or otherwise cheat out of prison solely because the far left medi exploited the case to attack Klobuchar. Im probably the only person on this board to actually remember the shooting when it was on the news, but the lives of 11 year old black girls doing their homework at a kitchen table doesnt mean what it once did to the media. Now its all about trying to set hardened gang member criminals like Burrell free to feed their fake BLM narrative. Who cares that he tried to claim he wasnt in Minneapolis, wasnt a gang member and wasnt out with his crew that night, when his mother showed up at the station and told police he was in Minneapolis, was a gang named Little Skitz, and was out with his crew who identified Little Skitz as the shooter

I never heard of that case, but yeah, fits right in. The media these days doesnt care about crime storylines that dont perpetuate "orange man bad".

They're younger, fresher, more charismatic, more articulate, seem to not get unsettled as much as Biden by people who dont support them, and they arent as nose-deep in the D.C. swamp as Biden.
Quite frankly, nobody cares about legislative accomplishments from 30 years ago. And as much as Biden has tried to claim co-ownership of the more recent Obama-era legislation, I dont think that this pitch is particularly convincing.
Oh yeah, have I mentioned already that these two would not be fucking 77 years old on inauguration day? ;)

Btw, I'm not saying that you're necessarily wrong, I just think differently about Biden. Guess time will tell who was right.

Well, it's not a matter of right and wrong because these are opinions. I agree that they are more charismatic but that's only one piece of what makes someone a good candidate. Experience is also one of the other "conceivable" ways. As for Biden, keep in mind that he was a senator until 2008...a lot of his legislative achievements are from this century!

But yea, I do think Biden is too old to be president which is why I'd hope we only got 1 term out of him. That term should focus on a public option, reducing the power of the presidency, and restoring our foreign policy standing.

the TLDR is- gang member did a driveby, missed his target and hit an 11 year old black girl. Tons of evidence proved his guilt and he got convicted, he got a 2nd trial because of prosecutor's errors, he got convicted again. Now they're trying to Central Park Five him

But if you look at which Democratic candidates actually won the presidency over the last 60 years, it's always been young(ish), fresh faces: JFK, Carter, Clinton, Obama.
(Johnson didnt win the presidency, he succeeded into it and ran his only campaign as an incumbent.)

History tells us that experience is not the defining quality of successful Democratic candidates. That it's an important predictor for being an effective president once in office is a different story.

he’s not wrong. from who is still standing Biden is the last one that will actually get the vote through genuine desire to back him as a candidate, rather than just backing the one who looks like they are gonna win.

Updated best odds available for each candidate after New Hampshire:

I expect Bloomberg to tank once he actually has to show his face to the American people and the other candidates start campaigning and running TV ads in the Super Tuesday states.

Biden has obviously fallen a ton after the first two, but look at Warren. Vegas basically doesn't see a path for her to win anymore, and I agree. She's wasting time and money by continuing to campaign.

ouch

Honestly after mulling it over I think Warren would get wrecked by Trump. He'd walk all over her in a debate because she's just too academic to communicate with the american public.

It would be so cringey. she'd be coming back with one liners that only land with super stuffy suburban moms, "We have a criminal in chief!!!!!!" and he'd say stuff that even if u hate him really makes u laugh. but she'd act like she won all the engagements. just painful to think of.
