I think the most inflammatory rhetoric they could point to was one sentence of him saying they'll "fight like hell" inbetween all the quotes about 'going in peace'

The democratic position is premised on the criminalization of contesting the election at all. That undermining/questioning the process was in and of itself the incitement to riot.

to be frank i just find it amazing that americans actually rioted directly against their government. its very hard to get away from that. it did not occur in a vaccuum. if i forget that for a moment, then i would look at what happened before jan 6th an after jan 6th. ill go away and read a bit more about it i guess.

Throw a stick in the air of American history and it will land on someone rioting against the government. In portland they laid siege to the federal courthouse for months straight- just a year ago. In the civil war, the union had to use gunships to suppress riots in NYC

as a neutral observer that all reeks of a deeply divided country, nothing good there.

If a person or country adopts a neutral position or remains neutral, they do not support anyone in a disagreement, war, or contest.

ehmm, i have not landed on a position ergo i think i still am?

if you want, i would add: the hearings into this spiel are not neutral noting they already made up their mind before the hearings began, i.e. already "aligned" (i.e. not neutral) against trump.

For a free and open society, particularly one with deep cultural and ideological divisions, the potential for riots is a natural consequence. And its the responsibility of government to both protect the rights of protesters to peacefully assemble, and to swiftly quash riots to protect the public from them- and the rioters from themselves. What we've seen is democrats fomenting left wing riots and completely abdicating their responsibility to keep the peace, then when theres even a hint of right wing assembly they'll preemptively lock them up for just daring to protest at all.
