Has anyone posted about how Kim said he would shut down his nuclear test site.. but it was recently revealed that the mountain which housed the test site actually imploded lol

Give an example of something of this magnitude playing out?

Escalation & threats are a powerful motivator. The stick and carrot approach worked quite well in my opinion, you can pretend that the threat to the North Korean regime played no role in this outcome but that would be quite the naive perspective.

Threats just aren't that effective and have been happening for decades at this point. There's a trend of nuclear activity ramping up surrounding hardline conservative policies and warmongering from U.S. and ROK.

Didn't read but seems like Trump deserves Nobel peace prize.

wow a lot of crackpot theories getting tossed around....

The Kim's never really cared about possessing Nukes. They were just copying what the Israeli's did, having a secret nuke program is a unilateral deterrent. It's no coincidence that this began as soon as intercepting missiles started to enter the fray. NK was happy to just have korean war era conventional missiles pointed at Seoul. Once the game changed they got ahead of the curve that made them invade-able.

Is this a way for China to get around tariffs? crinkle crinkle...

Will this result in NK overrunning SK? ummmm wat? It has never been a goal of the administration to invade SK, it's been impossible since SK was occupied and still is. Even more so now. Even in Trump pulls all the troops from SK we still have bases in Japan and Guam. NK can't overrun Sk in a day, but the could decimate SK without stepping a foot over the border.

Yep. The Kim cared so little about having nukes he starved his whole country to get them.

2nd rebuttal... not worth the effort.

NK has wanted to rule all of Korea since the 50's.

no. a nuclear program was nothing but a deterrent. They have never had aspirations to actually attack anyone with a nuclear bomb. If the world bought into a lie that they had nukes without them having to openly test them they wouldn't have spent the money. This is of course a basic of north korean foreign policy. it just another proof in a long line of proofs that you've never once informed yourself beyond reuters and drawing on family stories from the korean war.

as to NK wanting to unify korea, that's largely propaganda drawing on the korean people's massive amount of cultural pride. they're incredibly racist as a people and truly believe in korean superiority. By claiming that they northern regime is still trying to unify korea they get a boost of support. it is well established that if the North fell they would most likely fall into the souths control or at least heavy influence, so this secret is kept from the people of NK. They are told that the South is just a puppet of the US and that they have no korean values left. So the people of the north are meant to fear that type of unification. it's common to refer to both countries as one, but no one in the northern regime has actively sought to unify the two for decades. it's only possible if they fall. thats another basic.

you should do yourself a favor and read like any book ever written on the subject. you sound like a buffoon.
