The onslaught followed an overnight Russian rocket attack in the town of Vilniansk, close to the city of Zaporizhzhia in southern Ukraine, that destroyed a hospital maternity ward, killing a 2-day-old newborn boy and critically injuring a doctor.

“The first S300 rocket hit the road. The second rocket hit this place, the main general hospital, at the maternity wing,” said Mayor Nataliya Usienko. “One woman gave birth two days ago. She delivered a boy. Unfortunately this rocket took the life of this child who lived only two days.”

On Twitter, Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska wrote: “Horrible pain. We will never forget and never forgive.”

The strike adds to the gruesome toll suffered by hospitals and other medical facilities — and their patients and staff — in the Russian invasion that will enter its tenth month this week.

They have been in the firing line from the outset, including a March 9 airstrike that destroyed a maternity hospital in the now-occupied port city of Mariupol.

Nazi also had allies: japan, italy, hungary and many more like Switzerland or Sweden were neutral in the world.

China would like to take some new lands in Asia, so they are more or less fine with doing wars.

All of this happened a lot of time ago. Nowadays these countries dont think in 19th century ways. Russia is one of the countries that stayed in 19th century.
When the USA left Afghanistan, it was immediately occupied by force and conquest by taliban country. Women lost their rights. There is dictator now that does whatever it wants. America tried to bring democracy there, it failed but it was a good attempt. It was a free country when American soldiers were defending it.

Life expectancy in Russian prisons is very low. If you die in a year in prison, it makes imprisoned stats lower.
Also the population is much lower in Russia.
And lets not forget USA is a magnet for immigrants, while its generally good things, it can make some troubles integrating all these people and some of them end in prisons.
Also Im nearly sure that Russia doesnt report 1mln kidnapped Ukrainians as "imprisoned".
People in Russia live in dictatorship always. They dont rebel too much, as they know the government will rather kill them than give up.
Its sad but its like this.


Homeless in USA is 0.17%, In rural Russia, almost two-thirds have no access to indoor toilets. Cant cheat the math.

Leading opposition candidate is in prison.
TV and media is all propaganda. You can only criticize the government for making too few wars, for sending too few soldiers, for mobilizing too few people into the army, but you cant say that Russia does too many wars. Its a concession style opposition: government tells the "opposition" what they should do.
Fake opposition. Real opposition is in prison.
If you say "stop the war" you go to prison.
Soviet style "democracy" .


Since the ww2, many countries gave up conquests. Russia is one of the few who still like doing conquests and war things.

Absolute bullshit. There has never been a decade in recent history when Europe was completely free of war, and nothing happening today is equivalent to events in the 19th century.



It was not a good attempt. The US never held more than a fraction of Afghanistan and they never actually tried to hold more or convert Afghanistan into a democracy. America was more interested in making up lies about Iraq and failing to do the same with Syria when Russia prevented America from attacking Syria as well. A ridiculous scenario that actually saw the region become more dangerous and less stable. Something which cannot be said about Russia in Ukraine.



Doesn't even begin to explain the disparity, especially when all prisons have poor survival rates.
