to be quite frank I do like that you are debunking alot of these claims. the west would be on far firmer ground if it stuck to the basics.

I think it is silly, we all know the power of propaganda (western or eastern), and the lies that are perpetuated by all sides

They have always, and they will always.

WMDs weren't found and millions were killed. Nobody held accountable, and all accountability of the "people" dissolved by saying "rumsfeld, bush did it bruh".

My point is these things don't matter, because nations will do as they please based on perceived interests. Look at Ukraine and how every "leftist" and "tree hugging hippie" has become a warmonger over night.

no, tony blair was held accountable and they had to change the law afterwards sothat you are allowed to sanction a prime minister for war crimes. so the next time it happens they cant use an excuse. this does not help iraq today though. and to clarify i mean: they said: bold tony! and his response was "i did not break any law in england" and the response was "oh, your right! we will name a new law in case someone does what you just did" and tony blair said "sure". this is as far as accountability goes.

Not only did they already use the same propaganda back in 2011 with regard to Gaddafi/Libya... but are we seriously to believe that Russia is asking its recruits to bring their own sleeping mats and pillage their female relatives' tampon stock because they're that badly out of bandage and everything else - but would have a huge stash of viagra lying around somewhere to create an army of super-rapists? :rofl:

And I don't get the need for such ridiculous propaganda to begin with. The Russian military is a particularly rapey bunch (and has been for the past 100 years!) anyway; there's tons of verifiable cases of sexual violence against Ukrainians. Why lie to exaggerate a story which is already damning enough for the Russians even further, into the realm of comic book villainy?

I think this is relevant, something i said before:

Personally, I view the Iraqi war as sort of logical. They wanted a stronger hold of the oil-market, and choose Iraq (sort of adversary) as a prime target. The perceived interests was there, but the execution was catastrophic.

I don't think the Russians can compete with the Japanese when it comes to being a "Rapey" bunch .
